Helen has landed in India! She has embarked on a sabbatical for 6 weeks, working with with G.I.R.L. India, a charity dedicated to girls who live on the railways in Vijayawada.

The charity was set up by Wynne Clift and Radhika Premramasaran in 2007 and they work tirelessly to ensure the health, safety and education of these girls, whose ages range from 5 to 10.
All of the money that Helen is raising will go directly to buying food, clothes, shoes, books, pens, education and healthcare. Any donation will be gratefully received and you have the opportunity to donate as many times as you wish through PayPal.
Keep revisiting this website as the months go on – Helen will be giving updates on her fundraising progress, and where your money will be going. And after she returns, come back and read all about what she got up do and gawp at some of the photos that she’ll have taken.

What a noble and worth while thing to do, I wouldn’t expect anything less of someone with such a high level of social consciousness!!
I’m sure it will also be a lot of fun, the girls look truly delightful.
