Here’s how far your money will go:
33p feeds 1 girl a day. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner plus daily milk and fruit for each girl costs approx. £10 per month. Our organization is a vegetarian home excluding all meat, fish and eggs.
26p a week covers medical costs. Each new girl is given a medical and dental check as well as blood and HIV/Aids tests totalling approx. £17.50.
To educate a child here at our home costs under £4 per month. To send a child to an outside school costs approx. £12.50 pounds per month – this includes school uniform, books etc.
To provide 2 dress uniforms,
2 nightdresses, 2 petticoats plus 4 pairs of panties for each girl costs
less than £1 a month.
